Steve Ellis admitted to New York Bar

Stephen D. Ellis, of the law firm of Kiel Ellis & Boxer, took the oath of office as an attorney and was licensed to practice before all New York State courts, at a ceremony in Albany, New York, on September 21, 2004. 

Mr. Ellis has also been admitted to practice before the Vermont and Pennsylvania state courts, the United States Supreme Court, United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits, and United States District Courts for Vermont and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. 

Kiel Ellis & Boxer has offices in Springfield, Vermont, and represents clients throughout Vermont, New York and greater New England.   Mr. Ellis is the firm’s Managing Partner and heads the firm’s Business Law practice group.  His practice focuses on intellectual property, contracts, commercial and employment law, and general civil litigation.  He is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the American and Vermont Bar Associations and is the former Chair of the Vermont Bar Association Bench/Bar Committee.
