Mr. Blake directs the firm's workers' compensation practice group and serves as the Firm's personnel partner. Mr. Blake graduated West Chester University in 1989 receiving a Bachelors Degree, magna cum laude, in Political Science with a concentration in American Government. He earned his J.D. at the Widener University School of Law, Wilmington, Delaware. During law school, Mr. Blake interned with a Federal Magistrate Judge in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and gained courtroom experience with the Delaware County District Attorney's Office, Media, Pennsylvania. After law school, he practiced in New Jersey and Pennsylvania in the areas of civil litigation and criminal defense before joining our firm in 2001.
Mr. Blake represents Vermont employers and their insurance carriers in workers' compensation claims before the Vermont Department of Labor, Vermont Superior Courts and the Vermont Supreme Court. He also advises clients on employment law issues and represents businesses and individuals in civil litigation matters.
Mr. Blake enjoys life in Vermont with his wife and two children.
