![]() Mr. Sluka graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Science in Business & Economics, with honors. He attended Vermont Law School and earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude. Mr. Sluka recently returned to Ellis Boxer & Blake where he began his career. At Ellis Boxer & Blake, Mr. Sluka represents insurance carriers and employers in the defense of workers’ compensation claims. He also practices in the areas of insurance defense and coverage and general civil litigation. Mr. Sluka spent a few years practicing at a leading municipal law firm in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and has extensive experience in all aspects of municipal law. He has been involved in cases big and small, including head injuries, asbestos disease claims, and a variety of bodily injury claims for his insurance clients. In his municipal practice he advised and represented municipalities in all aspects of their day-to-day operations, including, for example, multimillion dollar property tax appeals, landfill and airport operations, and innumerable real estate and land use agreements and disputes. Mr. Sluka served as law clerk in the Grafton & Coos Superior Courts of New Hampshire. He is currently Vice Chair of the Reading Elementary School Board of Trustees. |
